L'échappée de Senozan

This long hike through woodland and bocage offers all the typical features of the Haut-Mâconnais region. From Senozan, you follow the Mouge along the edge of the forest to La Roche, below the La Salle quarries. Passing through vineyards and close to the Château de Besseuil, you come to the village of Clessé, listed as a Cité de Caractère. In the villages we pass through, well-preserved Romanesque churches are a reminder of the influence of the great Abbey of Cluny on these lands.

Beware of poor signposting on certain sections: use the GPX track as a priority!
