This 9th stage of the Grand Tour du Chalonnais takes you on a bucolic journey between Martailly-lès-Brancion and Sennecey-le-Grand. It's a route where the gentle landscapes of Saône-et-Loire blend with the richness of a centuries-old heritage.

You leave the outskirts of the medieval town of Brancion to plunge into the valley. The panorama of the mountains and the Grosne valley is in stark contrast to the serenity of the undergrowth you'll pass through.

The route winds its way between soothing forest areas and views of the Burgundy vineyards. It's a stage punctuated by nature, ideal for observing local wildlife and enjoying the changing light on the hillsides.
