Du château aux hameaux

Explore the village of Sully and discover its remarkable heritage.

- From the starting parking lot, leave the cross on the left (alternative), continue for 500 metres, then, at the crossroads with the route de Bouton, take the track which goes downhill on the right.

- Take the sunken track on the right, go down into the woods, then, at the crossroads, turn left and follow the track up to the hamlet of Morgelle. Turn left again, continue for 150 m and turn right onto a climbing track. After 500 m, turn left and continue for another 500 m on the ridge track to the road. Turn left and immediately take the right-hand track, which descends 500 m through the woods to reach a road.

- Turn right and walk 1km to Petit Moloy, pass the pond, turn right, walk 50m and take the left-hand path through meadows, walk 750m. At a crossroads (alternative), turn right towards Saint-Léger-du-Bois, (you will pass the "puits des fourneaux" on your left). Go 600 m and take the right-hand path, just after a bench, after 300 m arrive at La Chaume, cross the road (cross on the right), follow the tarmac path at the start which becomes a dirt track after the houses, this path climbs, after 400 m arrive at an intersection and turn left (view of the Château de Sully). After 250 m, reach the D26 (at the entrance to Saint-Léger-du-bois), turn left then right and cross the Drée bridge. Follow the road between the town hall on the right and the church on the left as far as Les Fontenys.

- Cross the road and continue straight ahead on the old railway. At the next intersection (old post office), turn left. At the junction with the D26, cross over and continue straight on for 300 m. Turn left at the crossroads, take the first right and drive past the château. Cross the bridge over the Drée and rejoin our starting point.

* Variation: after the château, turn left towards the Moulin de Sully, and continue for 1 km to reach the Fourneaux intersection. From this intersection, two loops are possible.
