Circuit du Bois de Rougeon
- At the beginning, near the bridge of the Guye, take the road going up the current of this river full of fish. Its source is located at SAINTE-HELENE 10 km further north.
- Pass in front of the Greuzard Mill and then that of Dame Huguette before discovering the old school of Saint-Louis. Further on, the church of SAVIANGES, dating from the 13th and 14th centuries, was redesigned in the 19th century and contains beautiful painted stained glass windows (1606).
- Before the village, take a path on the left that rises gently. At the entrance of the Bois de Rougeon, turn right to join the road leading to Quintry.
- When you reach La Croix Bernard, turn left to join the D236.
- You are halfway there. Follow this road for 700 m south to Mondornon, hamlet of SAINT-PRIVE.
- Turn right on a small road to the bridge where you can wait for a TGV.
- Follow immediately to the left, the path that leads to the village of PULEY.
- When you arrive, you will discover the ruins of the old priory from the 12th century.
- Cross the village through small streets.
- Pass under the TGV line and join the south of the Bois de Rougeon and the edge of the Guye.
- Before leaving GERMAGNY, take the time to discover the beautiful 18th century houses with galleries near the nearby Romanesque church.
