Circuit des étangs

This circuit leads to the southern part of the commune.

The Etang de la Vernée, which you will pass along the dike, will be your moment of fulfillment.

Once you've opened the doors of Saint-Germain church, you'll be able to see that it comprises two very distinct parts: an ancient building constructed in the first half of the 13th century at the instigation of the monks of Cluny, oriented East-West; and a construction dating from 1866, crossing the Romanesque building perpendicularly, which it uses as a sort of transept.

Numerous modillion sculptures attest to the age of the buildings.

Inside, traces of old paintwork remain.

Admire the lava roof of the former choir. Along the way, you'll come across a number of calvaries.
