Circuit de la mine

From the square, in front of the restaurant, go along the boulodrome and soccer field, left, then right and cross the Sornin, on your left is the Lac de la Mine. Just after, on the left, the site of the old coal mine closed in 1960. After "les Perrières", on the right, take the path of "La Plantée". Cross the road and continue on the left path, called "Puits Neuf". On the right, vestiges of the entrance of the new well, after a small hill, road of "La Côte d'Or", take on the right, view on the village of Saint Laurent en Brionnais, cross "Les Chaffauds", at "Fromental", on the right in direction of "La Sarrandière", while descending, beautiful landscape: the hill of Dun, the Old Village, the Quarry... Further down, on the left, the path that leads you to "La Place" to join the path of "Crottes" that you descend to arrive at the waterfall of Gothard near the old fish farm. Go back to the road of "La Sarrandière" and continue the descent to "Les Coptiers". Turn right and pass by the farm surrounded by 2 ponds. Go back to the village by the same way as before.
