Circuit de Charbonnat

Charbonnat is crossed by the Arroux. The bridge that spans the river was built to replace a ferry that allowed the crossing of the Arroux.

- Leave the parking lot on the road, go left for 500 m, then turn left on the path that goes up.

- Leave two paths on the left, then after 1.4 km stay on the left to exit on a small

road to Les Loges.

- After 900m, in the descent, take the road on the right and follow it straight ahead. Continue straight on the tarmac and at the D114 turn left.

- Pass the pond of Chevannes and 1,4 km further cross the main road and take the road opposite direction Plaige.

- Pass by the temple, and after the first farm turn left on the path that goes up.

- After 500 m follow the path on the right for 1.7 km until you reach the Croix de Valveron.

- Turn left, and after 900 m take the small road on the left.

- after 500 m turn right and then left towards Dettey.

- The small road climbs steeply and after 500 m turn left into the path that goes down.

- Pass by the Pierre Croule, take the road to the right, and after 500 m take the path to the left and then to the right that goes down to Thul.

- Continue straight on the tarmac and 1.2 km further on, just before Les Rendards, take the track that goes down to the left, and follow it for 1.7 km.

- At the crossroads, take the path on the right, cross the main road carefully 750 m further on, and continue straight on the path that goes up in front.

- Continue straight ahead on the slightly off-beat path to the right that goes downhill, pass behind a farm, and go up to the small road that you take to the left.

- 400 m further on, turn right on a path that goes up slightly and then down to Le Creux.

- Take the road to the right until the church of Charbonnat, then turn left and right to return to the Salle des Fêtes.
