Chemins Pèlerins Vézelay-Autun-Vézelay
This itinerary has been designed to make it easier for pilgrims to meet the locals, with major monuments such as Saint-Lazare Cathedral in Autun and the Basilicas of Vézelay and Saulieu, as well as numerous churches and chapels between paths and springs... This crossing of the Morvan from north to south or south to north, depending on your choice, has been marked out for you in eight stages for a total distance of 175km. After Autun, you can continue on the great "Assisi" and "Compostelle" routes via Taizé, Cluny... Each stage sheet includes a presentation of the sites you will be visiting, and allows you to choose and book your accommodation in advance. Now you're ready to let yourself be guided by the little hiker symbol of the pilgrim way, which identifies our signposting, to oxygenate and recharge your batteries, alone, with your family or in a group... Whether you're a nature-loving hiker or a pilgrim in search of spirituality, our paths are open to all, provided they respect nature and others.
