Belles vues

As you follow these paths, you'll appreciate the harmony of the curving landscape: a balance of woods, meadows, streams, ponds and hills, with solid pink granite houses. The village's economy is still based on the breeding of "blanches", or Charolais cows, which you'll see with their young in meadows bordered by hedges. The church, with its beautiful 12th-century Romanesque apse, welcomes renowned jazz musicians every year, attracted by its acoustics.

1 - From the center of Trivy, go down the main road which turns left. At the intersection, take the direction of Les Bernards - Les Gauthiers. After the last house on the right, take the path on the right. After about 1 km, turn left. About 600 m further on (junction of the circuit "La Chapelle" on the right), go straight on and cross the D 379.

2 - Take a dirt track on the left. At the small pond of Grand Champ on the right, turn left until the D 379. Short variant : continue straight on the " TRY 2 " circuit which joins the main route at the Croix des Brosses.

3 - Turn right onto the D 379 and, at the bend, continue straight ahead on the dirt road (see the Pontereau pond and the Madonna de la Butte de Suin on the right). Cross two intersections. When you reach a paved road, take it on the left. Continue straight ahead on a dirt road. Cross a tarred road and continue upwards (house with a pigeon house) until you reach the pass.

4 - Follow on the left the GR® 7 path on the whole ridge line (some beautiful viewpoints on the hills and valleys) until the Vaux pass.

5 - Turn right on the D 121 for 500 m, then turn left. Pass over the bridge over the RCEA (Route Centre Europe Atlantique) and, after 500 m, go left for about 300 m.

6 - Turn right onto a dirt road that runs alongside a relay antenna. Turn left and reach a road; turn right, then take the dirt track slightly to the left which runs alongside a farm building (view of the Vernée pond). Pass on the bank of the pond, then take the path on the left.

7 - Cross the D 41 (Dompierre) and take immediately to the left until this same D 41 which we take to the right while going along the RCEA. Pass under the bridge, and take the first track on the left which joins the D 422 leading back to the starting point.
