Balade Verte - La vallée de la Vaivre (B 2)
On this tour, you'll discover the Vaivre valley. You'll have a view of the Beaubery hills, its hedged farmland, sublime vistas and a dose of nature and the great outdoors.
Beaubery, a small village in the south-east of the Charolais communauté de commune, has 384 inhabitants and covers 2200 ha. With its 5 different walks, Beaubery reveals its undulating terrain, with five wooded hills and several streams and ponds. You can also discover the commune's highest point, Mont Botey at 561 m. The Cornes d'Artus, with the ruins of a 12th-century fortified castle, are perched atop the hill.
