Balade Saint-Georges

- Cross the bridge over the Goutteuse river in the direction of SANTILLY.

- Turn right on the road leading through pastures to Chaumois.

- Cross this hamlet leaving it on the left and follow, on the right, a path that leads to the Moulin Pacot before reaching the D153.

- Turn left, then 300 m further on, turn right on a dirt road that winds through groves and private ponds.

- Find a more important path, in the distance you can see the Côte Chalonnaise Sud, take it on the right to reach the Valottes commune of CHENOVES.

- Before entering the woods, take the time to discover the Valottes pond (200m right).

You are halfway along the trail: a break in the shade or with your feet in the water will give you back your courage.

- Return to the circuit, enter the Valottes wood. At the first intersection, follow the path to the right. At the crossroads, take the road to the right for 400 m before following the path to the left. The horizon is composed of wooded hills overlooking the villages of LAIVES, NANTON and ETRIGNY.

- After La Teppe au Loup, find the road that crosses a part of the village composed mainly of old houses and farmhouses before returning to the starting point.
