Balade des hauts de Brandon
Brandon, the new commune of Navour-sur-Grosne, is a small village of 300 souls nestled between the Clunisois and Charollais regions. It's just off the RCEA, 20 minutes from Mâcon, 10 minutes from Cluny and 30 minutes from Charolles. Its hedged farmland and woods are a delight to the eye and to walk through. Brandon is the only village in the canton to boast a working drinking fountain dating from 1870.
This short walk will allow you to discover the only working fountain in the region. Then, after an incursion on the commune of the chapel of the Mount of France, you will overhang the village of Brandon and the valley of the Noue. Going back down to the village, you can deviate from the route by a hundred meters or so and take a breath on a bench in front of the statue of the Virgin. As you continue on your way, don't forget to admire the panorama of the hamlets and the green meadows.
