Balade des cimes

From the tourist information office, go down rue Gambetta. On your right hand side point N°1 " Espace Culturel du Brionnais ". At the bottom, turn left on Avenue Van de Walle and arrive at point N°2 " L?étang du château ".

As you walk along the pond, you can see the castle of Chauffailles in the background. At the boulodrome turn left and then right towards Belmont de la Loire, in Monnay take Conforchon until you reach point N°3 " Pirot ". You are in the valley of Botoret, river of 1st category, on your left the Viaduct of Villon is then offered to your sight.

Go up to point N°4 " Le Bois ", turn right and take the D71 for a while then turn left and go up along the wood.

Continue your way on 2,5 km approximately in direction of the point N°5 " Point IGN 514 ".

At point N°6 " Les Lards ", left view on the village of Tancon, enter the wood, cross it on 500 meters to reach point N°7 " L'Hermitage ". You have the possibility on your right, out of the circuit, to go and see the Chapelle du Sacré C?ur (view and picnic area).

To continue your walk, go down to the left to Chauffailles. Cross the Botoret, go along the pond, and return in the direction of the tourist information office.
