This accommodation has been designed for walkers, cyclists and all travellers attracted by the vitality of Cluny. It's on the edge of the GR 765, on the Cluny - le Puy en Velay pilgrimage route, 4 km from the Mâcon-Chalon greenway, and 5 minutes from the RCEA - N79 crossroads.
It is a restful, practical, functional stopover, in an old stone house typical of the Mâconnais region, on a hillside in a Cluniac village, one of those that supplied the abbey and its pilgrims. Today, Jalogny is an active village of 430 inhabitants, 4km from Cluny and its shops and amenities (pharmacies, health centre, bus stops, numerous cafés and restaurants, festivals throughout the summer).
3 rooms are available as chambres d'hôtes. One of them can be shared with others for a small fee: it has 3 single beds (2 of which are bunk beds), a private shower room and washbasin, and a surface area of 20 m². The toilet is on the ground floor.
For comfort and rest: you can use a shared, well-lit lounge with a mezzanine.
Practical facilities include an enclosed bicycle garage and a laundry room.
Breakfast is served in the host's home, in 2 formulas, ordinary or full, on the terrace in summer, with an uninterrupted view. The kitchen is available for the evening meal (refrigerated storage possible). A packed lunch is available to order.
There is a separate entrance via a courtyard planted with flowers (wisteria, jasmine, roses, etc.) - Garden furniture and tables.
The environment is very quiet.
Cyclists are catered for: luggage transport to be studied, bike repairer in Cluny, kit on site. Socket for charging batteries.
