Based in southern Burgundy, Jean-Charles CLAUDEL is an artisan cutler, blacksmith and specialist in traditional shaving.
In his workshop at Saint-Pierre-le-Vieux in Saône-et-Loire, he works with passion and precision in steel, wood, horn, bone, metals, leather, galalith, etc, for his creations and restorations.
His products include folding knives, kitchen knives, table knives, straight razors, shaving brushes, sharpening leather, shaving bowls and various turned wooden dishes.
Nature-conscious, he makes it a point of honour to use as many natural, locally sourced materials as possible.
All his creations are unique and entirely handmade by him, from the damascus coming out of his forge to the pieces machined on his wood lathe.
