Etang des Cloix

This 3.7 hectare lake, just a few kilometres south of Autun, is a haven of peace for fly fishing.

A 3.7-hectare fly-fishing reservoir.

Located a few kilometres south of Autun, this artificial fly-fishing reservoir is the result of collaboration between the town of Autun, the joint Morvan Autunois Couchois water syndicate, the Saône-et-Loire fishing federation and the "Gaule Autunoise - Pêcheurs Morvandiaux" AAPPMA.

Respect this place!

A few simple rules:

- Motorised vehicles are prohibited: parking is compulsory in the car park at the entrance to the access path.

- Use the marked paths and fishing zones.

- Fishing is limited to 12 anglers present at any one time and in possession of a fishing licence.

- Swimming is prohibited!

- Do not leave any rubbish lying around after your visit.

Fishing regulations.

To fish, you need to :

- Buy a special day pass.

- Be a member of an AAPPMA (daily/weekly/annual pass) so that your contribution to the protection of aquatic environments (CPMA) is up to date.

- Only fishing with artificial flies is permitted. Artificial flies must be mounted on a single hook without barb or with a crushed barb. The number of flies is limited to a maximum of three on a single line.

- Fishing will only take place during the day between half an hour before sunrise and half an hour after sunset, and no later than 8.30pm.

- Soft lures or flies with metal vanes are prohibited.

- Sailing is prohibited.
